Father’s Day is June 20th — are you prepared to make your Dad smile? You’ve got a little time yet, so I figured a I’d give you a few suggestions. People joke that Dads usually get the short end of the stick when it comes to gifts, but I’ve found that tool dad’s are different. If your Dad taught you all kinds of cool stuff, about fixing things, building things and not getting hurt in the process, get him tools.
If you’ve spent more time working with your Dad in the garage or shop than than shopping at the Mall, here are a few hints to point you in the right direction.
19.2 volt C3 Cordless Tools
Cordless tools can really speed up the work your Dad likes to do and help him do the tasks he doesn’t like much faster. The 19.2 volt C3 line of cordless tools are the most popular in the Craftsman line. If he likes Craftsman he may already have a 19.2 volt drill and a few of the C3 tools. The tools are strong, lightweight, and well built. They are designed for around the home use and there are so many that it can be hard for you to decide what to get him.
Does your Dad need a new drill? Many Dad’s have an old favorite but if he uses it as much as I do it’s probably time for a new one. You might as well get him a well-built drill and batteries that will last him for years.

Craftsman Model 17600 19.2-volt C3 Cordless Reciprocating Saw. This is the latest technology in DE-construction saws. This saw is variable-speed, strong and can easily be operated with one hand.
Craftsman Model 34130 19.2 Volt C3 10 inch Chain Saw. This little chainsaw is great for trimming and light wood cutting. It is a great addition for the occasional tree project.

Craftsman Model 17598 19.2-volt C3 Wet/Dry Vac. Here is a tool you can use! When it comes to cleaning out his car, it’s a lot of work to dig out the shop vac, find a cord and get it all hooked up. This new cordless wet/dry vac will greatly speed up the car cleaning process.
